Flying into Paro, surrounded by the dramatic peaks of the Himalayas, I immediately felt that Bhutan would be unlike any place I had visited before. Traveling through Thimphu, Punakha, and the quiet mountain valleys, I discovered a country deeply rooted in tradition, where monasteries overlook rice fields and prayer flags move gently in the wind. One of the most unforgettable moments was hiking to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery, clinging to a cliff high above the Paro Valley. Standing there, surrounded by silence and mountains, I truly felt the spirit of Bhutan — peaceful, authentic, and timeless.
